About the Artist
My back ground has included a fashion design diploma, jewellery making, lead lighting, photography, drawing and painting (on any surface I could find),just to name a few. A Jill of all trades...
At last I feel I have found my forte with watercolour painting.
Born in New Zealand in 1978, I Have always had a passion for anything creative. However it has been quite a journey to focus and channel this creativity into one main passion. Watercolour.
A couple of years ago, while traveling Ireland I started to dabble with it, as I felt it would be the easiest painting medium to travel with. But it wasn't until a year and a half ago on returning home to Hawkes Bay that I really threw myself into it.
Never have I been so dedicated with any of my creative endeavors as I have with watercolour. It has challenged and intrigued me, and there is always something new to learn about it. Therefore my work is and always will be evolving, and presenting me with new exciting challenges.
What inspire's me? - Everything I see!
